R1 House

The R1 House is located on a hill in Punta Negra that offers a privileged view of the Peruvian coast and the sea of the Pacific Ocean.

The project condenses the entire private program into two solid volumes, with carved facades to the South and West, which take advantage of the views towards the sea and the prevailing wind.

The first volume, located to the east of the terrain lot, houses the night program on two floors; and floats over a multi-use basement. The second, located towards the back, contains the home server program. Both volumes delimit and create the entrance, the social area and the terrace between their voids.

By this disposition, the house simply solves the program and creates a space for the social area that has the possibility of being completely permeable and fluid towards the outside; without losing shelter and privacy by its volumetric configuration.
